Your main tasks – challenging, varied and with development potential.

• Independent planning, implementation and management of challenging customer projects in the area of VMware vSphere, Omnissa Horizon, Microsoft Hyper-V, Azure as well as backup and storage integration
• Analysis of existing customer environments and development of complex virtualization concepts, including security and high availability requirements
• Conception and integration of cloud solutions: Public cloud (Azure, MS365), private and hybrid cloud based on VMware and hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) solutions
• Consulting and technical support for customers in the areas of virtualization, VMware security, cloud architectures and data center modernization
• Technical support for the sales and solution architecture team in the pre-sales and post-sales process (requirements analysis, workshops, quotations, presentations)
• Know-how transfer through coaching and support of internal colleagues in the area of virtualization and cloud
• Active participation in the further development and standardization of our virtualization and cloud service portfolio
• Evaluating new technologies and trends in virtualization, backup, cloud and automation to continuously optimize our solutions

• Completed training in IT, further training at HF/FH level or a comparable qualification
• Several years of practical experience in engineering complex virtualization and backup environments
• Sound project and migration experience in heterogeneous, demanding IT landscapes
• Current certifications in the VMware and Microsoft environment (e.g. MS-102, AZ-104)
• Good knowledge of network technologies and backup solutions
• Strong customer orientation, consulting skills and enthusiasm for new technologies
• Independent, structured and responsible way of working
• High level of commitment and willingness to undergo continuous further training
• Very good written and spoken German and good English skills

You are fluent in German and have a good command of written and spoken English. Other languages are an advantage. Ideally, you are between 30 and 40 years old and have a category B driver’s license.
